Not Batman and Robin, it's Laura and Richard.
This ain't your grandma's two-piece lounge act!
Richard's currently taking on the task of sequencing bass and drum parts, and we're adding a great many more recent tunes to the solid Classic Rock repertoire we've done for the past 6 years. As many of you know we've always avoided using other people's sequences and have never performed a song using backing tracks we didn't create ourselves. Although audio drum loops are interesting and certainly have there uses they increase file sizes and the need for storage media, and you'll never get the fill that's on the record without spending far more time sampling than you need to play it on a set of pads. MIDI sometimes looks like a dying art form, but it's the only one that yields results up to our high standards.
Stay tuned for more info... and look for us in the fall.
