It was watching the wide variety of bands and musicians passing through her native St. John's that drew Laura to singing. Over the years, Streetheart, Lisa Dalbello, the late B.B. Gabor, and others have encouraged her to follow her dreams. A natural talent sometimes compared to Stevie Nicks, Sass Jordan and Melissa Etheridge, Laura writes lyrics, strums some guitar, and plays a mean set of spoons!
